Two chambers in Dhaka, six evenings a week: Lake View Clinic in Gulshan and York Hospital in Banani, both from 5 to 7 pm. Appointments are taken by telephone.

Please call before you travel. Professor Osmany’s duties at Dhaka Medical College (ward rounds, operating lists, the cochlear implant clinic) occasionally move a chamber evening. Call ahead and the numbers above will confirm.

Her practice today centres on head and neck cancer surgery and the Cochlear Implant Programme, alongside the general ENT surgery below.
Your visit
Telephone the chamber you’d like to attend. 01330-464290 takes appointments for both, and a serial number can usually be given for the same evening if there’s room.
Previous prescriptions, any earlier audiogram, CT or MRI reports, and a list of the medicines you take. Bring a relative if the patient is a child or elderly.
A history, an examination with the endoscope where needed, and a clear explanation of what is wrong and what the options are. Consultation: ৳1,500 for a new patient, ৳1,000 for a follow-up within one month. Surgical fees are discussed and agreed after consultation, once a procedure is decided on.
